Frequently Asked Questions

How do rebates work?

Most stores prefer to handle rebates themselves. We provide a report that lists all the orders that qualify for a rebate, and the stores use that to send out rebates. This can take the form of a partial refund to the customer, issuance of a new gift card (if it's a gift card and not a rebate), or directly processing and sending a check to the customer.

You also have the option to download a PayPal Mass Pay CSV file that makes it easy to send out all of your rebates out with a single transaction.

Finally, some customers prefer to have us handle all rebates. We charge a $1.00 processing fee for each rebate we hand out. We send you a monthly invoice for the rebates due that month.

What if a customer refers more than one friend?

Customers can refer as many friends as they like. However, if you have a Self-Serve account, your customer will only qualify for one rebate. For example, if Sarah refers Becky and Quinn, and the deal is for 30% off, Sarah, Becky and Quinn all get a 30% rebate. (Sarah does not get 30% x 2).

On Enterprise accounts, rewarding customers for each referral is an available campaign option.

How customizable are the deals?

The presentation of deals is customizable through CSS and text, letting each store offer a unique experience. For the actual rewards and incentives you offer, you have many choices. You can provide cash rebates, coupon & gift codes, free shipping, physical items (like t-shirts), or even nothing at all.

Do you support languages other than English?

We allow extensive customization of all customer-facing text on the deals. That means you can offer your deals in a particular language, but the admin panel and the reports will be in English. Choose your currency when you log in, then you can customize the deal text in your language of choice.
